Lieutenant General Jon M. Davis USMC (Ret) is President of Green Monarchs Enterprises Inc.

Jon joined the Marines in 1977, was commissioned after he graduated from college in 1980 and served 37 years as an aviator, instructor, leader, thinker and doer.  He flew the primarily the AV-8A and B model Harrier from 1982 to 2017 but flew every type, model, series aircraft in service with the Marine Corps.  Additionally, he flew Harrier GR-3s, 5s and 7s with the RAF.  He served as an instructor in VMAT-203, VMA-223, 3F Sqn RAF and MAWTS-1.  He commanded VMA-223, MAWTS-1 and the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.

He served as the Deputy Commander, Network Warfare at Fort Meade, and later as the Deputy Commander, United States Cyber Command.  He stood up and led the nation’s first Cyber Joint Interagency Task Force (JIATF) in 2006.  His last active duty billet was to serve as the Deputy Commandant for Aviation, Headquarters Marine Corps.

He retired in 2017 from the Marine Corps and began his business career.  He is a Director at Potentia, a member of the Rolls Royce North America, AeroCore, and Chemring Group Board of Directors.  He is an advisor to four successful startups.  He holds a Bachelor of Science from Allegheny College, a Master of Science from Marine Corps University and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.  He is a graduate of the Wharton School, Boards That Lead program.   He is a certified Alpine Ski Instructor at Schweitzer Mountain, Idaho.

His charity endeavors include the Marine Corps Aviation Association, The Harrier Association, The Flying Leathernecks Aviation Museum and the North Idaho High School Aerospace Program.

He has been happily married to Carol for 45 years, a father to two Marine aviators, one a Delta Airlines pilot, and the other a F-35 pilot, the father in law to two great daughter-in-laws and the lucky grandfather of four wonderful granddaughters.
